If you want to send a file that is on your computer, browse for the same, click on ‘Open, and then hit the ‘Send’ button.
The file will be sent to the recipient within the chat. If you are trying to send the file from OneDrive, or the other alternatives mentioned, you can send the link to the file and the recipient can download the same using the link.
