Step 5. Confirm the operation on the confirmation window and the app will now be disabled.
Once the app is disabled, you will not see it in your app list. While this is not ‘Hiding the app’ per se, it still does the trick. You can always go back ot the app settings and enable the apps if you want to use them again.
