Exit the browser, clear the background apps, and then restart the browser and continue your browsing activity. Pop-ups will now be blocked by default and you will now stop seeing annoying pop-up ads and clickbait tabs on your Android Home screen.
Now, if you are visiting a banking website and it requires the pop-ups to be enabled, then you can simply follow the same procedure given above and enable the pop-ups. Just make sure that you disable the pop-ups after your work is done.
