Innovative Glue Dispensing Solution
To achieve this industry first, HONOR developed a revolutionary glue dispensing technology for the HONOR X8, which fills the adhesive gap between the display and the middle frame bezel. Traditionally, the outer layer of adhesive is applied after the display has been assembled, necessitating the use of a bigger room for the operation. To overcome this, HONOR applied the outer layer of glue prior to assembling the display and precisely filled the gap with glue during the display assembly process, significantly reducing the gap between the Cover Glass (CG) and the middle frame bezel, resulting in the HONOR X8’s ultra-narrow bezel design. The design exemplifies HONOR’s dedication to providing new technology solutions and a smooth user experience that enables users to fully immerse themselves and enjoy in the content they consume.
HONOR Self-developed Antenna Transmission Technology
Additionally, the ultra-narrow bezel causes issues for the smartphone’s antenna design. HONOR invented an antenna transmission method that ensures superior wireless communication performance despite a 30% reduction in antenna space.
