GPT-4 Turbo upgrade arrives for Windows 11 Copilot

Microsoft has been making full use of it’s partnership with OpenAI, and now, it looks like the tech giant has taken one more step towards taking a lead in the AI race. Recently, Bing Chat which was running GPT-4, was renamed to Copilot, merging it with the Copilot AI assistant that was integrated into Windows services.

Reports are now coming in that Microsoft is looking for ways to integrate Copilot with GPT-4 Turbo, which offers a slew of capabilities that are not even possible for GPT-4. OpenAI offers GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo to paid subscribers, but one of the ways that users can access and experience GPT-4 for free is through Bing Chat/ Copilot.

If this scheme continues, users will be able to experience GPT-4 Turbo for free as well. But, there is a snag. Microsoft is still figuring out how to properly integrate Copilot and GPT-4 Turbo together.

It is assumed that once they iron out the kinks, GPT-4 Turbo will run on both the Big Chat as well as the system-wide Copilot on Windows 11, giving users a bigger and better experience.
