In a recent post, Cory Barlog stated that he can understand having an installer on a disc right now, implying that Modern Warfare 2’s disc has very little data on it, but he then revealed that a retailer had apparently sold copies of the game two weeks before its release. In other words, those who post videos, spoilers, and leaks online may have received their copies from a retailer before the official release date. This isn’t the first time something like this has occurred, but the fact remains that it has had a significant and widespread impact on franchise fans.
