One talented Elden Ring fan has created adorable drawings of the game’s bosses, resembling characters from the popular 2D Metroidvania game Hollow Knight. Elden Ring is one of the most difficult games ever made, with brutal enemies such as bears, dragons, giant insects, dogs, and eagles. Aside from these regular foes, the FromSoftware title features a one-of-a-kind collection of over 100 bosses scattered throughout the game world, presenting new challenges to players at every turn.

These Elden Ring leaders have millions of followers, with Malenia – Blade of Miquella, Starscourge Radahn, Godfrey – The First Elden Lord, and Rennala – Queen of The Full Moon commanding the majority. Elden Ring fans frequently depict these characters in visually appealing art, sometimes recreating iconic game scenes. Now, one artist has combined Elden Ring bosses with Hollow Knight, another popular video game.

Reddit user lub270d shared an image of an intriguing artwork of several Elden Ring bosses on the social media platform. The intriguing aspect of this Elden Ring art is that it depicts the bosses as characters from Hollow Knight, a popular 2D adventure game. According to the caption, this is the first part of a series in which they have drawn Limgrave and Weeping Peninsula bosses in the style of Hollow Knight. The image depicts 32 bosses found in Elden Ring’s Limgrave and Weeping Peninsula areas, divided into six rows. The Grafted Scion, Soldier of Godrick, Demi-Human Chiefs, Stonedigger Troll, Patches, Black Knife Assassin, and Mad Pumpkin Head are among the names in the first two rows.

Tree Sentinel, Flying Dragon Agheel, Crucible Knight, Bloodhound Knight Darriwil, Margit The Fell Omen, and Godrick the Grafted are among the more difficult Elden Ring bosses in the following two rows. Finally, other names in the last two rows include Ancient Hero of Zamor, Deathbird, Scaly Misbegotten, Cemetery Shade, and Erdtree Avatar. Fans reacted positively to the post, pointing out similarities between the bosses and their counterparts in Hollow Knight. Deathbird and Cemetery Shade, for example, are nearly identical to Nosk and The Collector, respectively.

Hollow Knight is a Metroidvania game in which players take on the role of a knight who explores the world of Hallownest armed with various moves and combat mechanics. Team Cherry, an Australian indie developer, created the game, which was released in 2017 on PC, macOS, Linux, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Despite the fact that the game has been out for nearly five years, many players have yet to uncover all of the key secrets in Hollow Knight.
