Working alongside Enrico Cardile’s team, Ferrari’s aerodynamics chief and vehicle project manager, George will contribute to the development of the 2024 car. Another former Red Bull aerodynamicist, whose name has not been disclosed, will also join the team as Ferrari’s team principal, Fred Vasseur, begins to assemble his team.
While these acquisitions are likely geared towards the 2024 season, Ferrari remains committed to the ongoing Formula 1 campaign. The team plans to unveil upgrades at the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix, aiming to revive their fortunes. Ferrari’s last victory in Spain dates back to 2013 with Alonso behind the wheel, which remains the Spaniard’s most recent Formula 1 triumph.
