Capcom has disclosed a slew of new Exoprimal details, including open beta dates, Deluxe Edition DLC, and battle pass plans. Exoprimal’s June 14 release date was leaked earlier today, and it has subsequently been confirmed as part of the Capcom Spotlight event. The release date was just the beginning of Capcom’s Exoprimal announcements for the day, however. Although June may seem long away, Capcom looks to be planning to let fans check out Exoprimal much sooner.
Exoprimal is Capcom’s forthcoming premium multiplayer shooter in which players take on the role of an Exofighter facing swarms of mutant dinosaurs controlled by rogue AI. It is, at its core, a live service game intended to be played indefinitely with ever-escalating advancement algorithms. An early closed beta in July and August 2022 sparked a surge of interest in Exoprimal, and fans have been waiting for word on the previously mentioned open beta ever since.
Exoprimal launches on July 14th on Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam with day one access on Xbox Game Pass! Squad up in 5v5 matches and take down both dinosaur hordes and opposing teams where no two matches play out the same.

Exoprimal’s open beta has now been formally announced. Exoprimal will be available for testing beginning March 17, with the beta extending through the weekend and finishing March 19. The beta will contain new classes that were not included in the closed beta revealed in the Exoprimal Capcom Spotlight video. With Exoprimal still four months away from release, the announcement of a beta in only one week is extremely surprising.
The Deluxe Version of Exoprimal was also revealed. The normal version of Exoprimal will be $59.99 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, with the Deluxe Edition costing an extra $10, for a total of $69.99. Exoprimal customers will get a Heart Start Kit with three skins and the first Survival Pass premium unlock for a higher price.
The fight pass, known in Exoprimal as the Survival Pass, is precisely what one would anticipate. It includes a free track for all Exoprimal gamers as well as a premium track with a considerable quantity of bonus cosmetic prizes. The first season of the premium Survival Pass will provide 19 distinct Exosuit skins, 10 weapon skins, plus a variety of emotes, decals, stamps, and other items.
A trio of Exosuit skins will be available as a pre-order bonus, and it has been confirmed that Exoprimal will be accessible as a Day One Xbox Game Pass release. If the $60 price tag is too pricey for a purchase, Xbox Game Pass may be a more cost-effective solution. When Exoprimal’s open beta begins on March 16, players will be able to trial before they purchase.
