Players who have been battling with corrupted franchise save files in Madden NFL 23 should now be able to check to see whether they have been saved or if they will have to restart their franchise. EA adds that a Week 17 “Play Now” Live roster was released last week, and another Wild Card update is available now that would serve as a good starting point. To reiterate, Madden NFL 23 players who have not yet had their franchise save files repaired will never have them repaired. There is nothing further that can be done.
The apology from EA Tiburon is overwhelming. In an email to players, Madden NFL executive producer Seann Graddy said, “This should not have occurred.” A cascade of issues ensued, corrupting not just live saves but also deleting the majority of backups. While the difficulties have now been fixed, the afflicted gamers are still suffering.
