- Now, for those who have the Chrome browser and are facing the issue mentioned above, let’s begin.
- First, open the Chrome browser and in the address bar, enter this –
chrome://settings/content/cookies
- You will now see the cookies settings of Chrome and here, we need to make sure that the Keep Local Data Only Until You Quit the Browser option is disabled.
- Scroll down the list and make sure there are no sites listed under the Clear on Exit list. If you do find something on the list, just click on the three-dot icon on the side and click on the Delete option from the drop-down.
- Once you have done this, exit the browser, reopen it and open any of the websites you have previously visited. Log in if you have to and make sure you allow the browser to remember the password. This will ensure that the next time you visit the website, the browser will remember the details without an issue.
