Disney reveals the first expansion for Dreamlight Valley

Disney recently concluded their first-ever Disney Dreamlight Valley Showcase, where they gave us some exciting details on what is coming next in the game. The company had announced earlier that the game will be abandoning the early access and will be available as a full paid release in December. However, the company decided to drop some more details to get gamers ready and hyped for the upcoming game.

Now, for those of you who have been living under a rock, Dreamlight Valley is a life simulator game that you may find similar to Animal Crossing. Now, players will not be living amongst a village full of cutesy animals, rather a village that has been populated by Disney characters. The early access, which had players growing crops alongside WALL-E and Daffy Duck saw some great feedback and many expressed that they would love to play the final game.

The biggest reveal of the event was the announcement of the first expansion of the game, which has been titled ‘A Rift in Time’. This content will be released in three parts throughout 2024, and will give users a whole new open-world area to explore, the time-bending Eternity Isle, where gamers will also see the machinations of the deadly villain Jafar from the Aladdin series.

Eternity Isle will be divided into three biomes, namely, the mysterious Ancient’s Landing, the scorching hot Glittering Dunes, and the dense jungles of Wild Tangle. Each region will introduce new characters from the Disney universe, and we can’t wait to see it all unfold on our screens. This additional content will cost $29.99 and will be as big as the base game world. An online multiplayer mode is also seemingly on the way, which will be a fun way to explore the world with your friends or players around the world.
