This announcement comes as part of Gameloft’s decision to indefinitely postpone plans to transition Disney Dreamlight Valley to a free-to-play model.
After a 15-month preview period, Disney Dreamlight Valley is set to make its grand debut on December 5. The Founder’s Packs, providing access to the game’s early access version, will remain available for purchase until December 4. Gameloft offers three distinct Disney Dreamlight Valley Founder’s Packs, with prices ranging from $29.99 for the base game to $69.98 for the Ultimate Edition.
Gameloft’s latest revelation ensures that all Founder’s Pack owners will receive the exclusive cosmetics originally intended for the Gold Edition of the game, and this will be included at no extra cost. The digital treasures encompass the charming Flowery Summer Cottage house style, two Artist’s Overalls costumes, and the adorable Flowery Capybara animal companion. Additionally, purchasing any of the three Founder’s Pack tiers will also grant players a generous bonus of 2,500 Moonstones. This bonus is equivalent to a $9.99 investment in the game’s digital currency.
As with previous digital bonuses integrated into the life sim, these newly announced rewards will be distributed to eligible players through the in-game inbox system. To claim the Disney Dreamlight Valley Founder’s Packs themselves, players must first embark on the introductory Story Quest, assisting Merlin in clearing out Night Thorns. As a reward, they will receive their very own house, complete with a mailbox.
The act of interacting with this mailbox for the first time will enable early adopters to claim their Disney Dreamlight Valley Founder’s Packs, which is a prerequisite for receiving the exclusive Gold Edition cosmetics and the accompanying 2,500 Moonstones. These additional in-game goodies are expected to be delivered via in-game mail on the following day.
