GOG either knows something that video game gamers don’t, or this is an odd inclusion in their poll. Given that it’s a poll, it’s unlikely to have been scrutinised with a fine-toothed comb, it’s scarcely trustworthy. Still, there’s no apparent reason for why Ubisoft Plus Gold, Ultimate, and Deluxe are included unless there’s something more to the story.
The fact that so many other services already offer numerous membership levels makes it seem to be more than an accident. EA Play has Pro, Xbox Game Pass has Ultimate, and PlayStation Plus has three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. Players should anticipate Ubisoft to create several levels that divide up the service’s features and charge extra for access to new titles. It remains to be seen if this is true.
