The awards in the Dead Space remake are mainly comparable to those in the original game, although with some surprising modifications and additions. For the most part, it appears like the whole Dead Space story development remains the same. The Dead Space remake contains all the same chapter-based awards. Similarly, most battle awards are similar if not identical. The updated game does eliminate several odder original game combat awards, and instead includes some simple ones that encourage players to exploit features like stomping, kinesis, pinning adversaries, and cutting/ripping off enemy limbs.
