CD Projekt Red seeks to make the Cyberpunk Series just as good as The Witcher

Ever since CD Projekt Red released the Phantom Liberty DLC, gamers have reaffirmed their faith in the Cyberpunk 2077 franchise and that has in turn, re-installed the faith in the developers, who are now set on making this franchise just as successful as their Witcher game franchise. In an interview with the media, narrative director Igor Sarzy?ski revealed that the developers of the Cyberpunk series are hoping that the Cyberpunk game evolves and matures similar to the Witcher game series, and to that end, theyy are ready to put in as much time as it humanly takes to make this dream a reality.

Cyberpunk was the first time that the developers had worked on something that was based on futurism and Sci-Fi, and although the post launch period was a nightmare, they refocussed their attention and fixed all grievances with Phantom Liberty. “Some of the stuff worked almost right out of the box, such as the art, city design, music, interactive scene system, playstyles,” he said. “Other aspects took more time to get right, like character progression, NPC interactivity, and optimization. That’s natural; it’s impossible to nail everything on your first try.”

“Now with all the game elements iterated and working well, we’ll focus on connecting them even tighter and creating a coherent, total immersion experience,” said Sarzy?ski.

Phantom Liberty launched in September and takes place during the events of the main story, which means the changes that were brought in with this DLC, affect the game’s current progress, which is definitely good news for new and existing Cyberpunk gamers.
