Blizzard reveals its exciting plans for the World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft is without a doubt, one of the best MMO games in the market. It has grown from strength to strength over the years, and it looks like developer Blizzard is not quite done with the product yet. They have put out a new blog post on their website, where they have highlighted not one, not two, but five new new features that will be added to the game in the upcoming patch 10.2.5, which they have titled ‘The Seeds of Renewal’.

The feature that caught out attention is the ability to use Dragonflight across the game. This mechanic, which was previously limited to the Dragon Isles region of the map, will seemingly be unlocked for players to use across the entirety of the map. This way, players will be able to traverse to the various regions on dragon back, which just by the sounds of it, it really cool.

The Azerothian Archives will be introduced in the new patch as well. This will allow users to get to know a little bit more about the lore of the dragon isles, hear stories of old and also meet and interact with a host of new characters. Alongside this, players will also be introduced to the Gilneas Reclamation, a quest which will allow players assist King Greymane to reclaim the ancestral land of his people. This follow up quest was a long time coming as the last event of this storyline was executed back in 2010.

Blizzard is also taking a page out of Final Fantasy’s book by introducing Flower Dungeons. These are dungeons that players can explore and take on with NPC partners. This will also allow players to learn about Dragonflight dungeons as they please, and also customise their party makeup.

Finally, the Seeds of Renewal patch will bring new customisation items for Trolls, Draenei, and Warlock minions, which is something that players have been asking for.

By the looks of things, it looks like World of Warcraft is here to stay, and the announcement of this new patch further reaffirms this. What do you think of this new patch announcement? Let us know in the comments.
