Ark: Survival Ascended

Ark: Survival Ascended will make its Xbox debut next week

If you have been playing the Ark series, you may have played the hit game Ark: Survival Evolved. We did, and we absolutely enjoyed it. Today, the developers of the Ark series, Studio Wildcard and Grove Street Games have announced that the Unreal Engine remake of the Ark: Survival Evolved will be coming to the Xbox Series S|X on November 14th. The beta version of the game was available for PC gamers a few months ago.

They will also be introducing console-specific servers, which means cross-play won’t be a requirement. Servers for PvP, PvE and the small tribes mode will be running boosted rates for a limited period of time in order to assist smaller players to catch up. The rates will be synchronised by mid-December.

The PS5 version will laso be releasing with all the aforementioned features, but the developers have not yet confirmed when the game will be released on the platform. When the developers were asked about this, they were a bit defensive about it, but said that they are aiming for a release sometime next month.

“We’re hoping to have a more precise date to share with you soon as we’re currently finalizing this with Sony, but it is slated for the end of November,” Studio Wildcard wrote.

The developers also confirmed that they are already releasing fixing to iron out the bugs that have been detected in the beta test, so that the final release to the public will be as bug-free and stable as possible. They have also committed to continue supporting the game and bringing in new features from time to time.
