ExpressVPN, one of the best VPN services in the market, have released their much-awaited password manager to the public. The tool, which has been named ‘ExpressVPN Keys’ will seek to help users better manager their passwords and also protect them from data breaches, thereby ensuring the privacy and security of the users online.
“Passwords are an inescapable part of our online lives. But despite their importance, a huge number of people still have bad password habits, relying on repeated use of the same password or the dreaded password reset button as their security method of choice,” said Samuel Bultez, Head of Product at ExpressVPN.
The Keys password manager will be built into the ExpressVPN suite, so if you already use the base ExpressVPN application, you will be able to use the password manager as well. Users will be able to store an unlimited amount of logins, passwords, credit and debit card details, as well as important or confidential notes. If you are signing up to a new website, or feel your existing password is not secure enough, you can use Keys to generate a stronger password, using the recommended best practices in the industry.
There is also a data breach alert feature, that will alert you if any of your details have been compromised in a data breach and what you can do to protect yourself. You will also be able to use Key to remotely sign out of devices, and also sync your information across multiple devices. ExpressVPN Keys is now available to use on iOS and Android devices and if you have already purchased an ExpressVPN plan, you will be able to use Keys on unlimited devices simultaneously.
