The shift in speculation comes from Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known Apple analyst with a strong track record of predicting the company’s moves. Previously, Kuo had maintained that the MacBook Pro M3 would not arrive until 2024, but recent developments have led to a change in his forecast.
This reversal is prompted by Apple’s announcement of an October event with the tagline ‘scary fast,’ strongly suggesting that the event will showcase a Mac featuring the M3 chip.
