Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy Release Date Confirmed for January 25, 2024

Capcom Reveals Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy's Arrival Date, Physical Releases, and Abundant Special Content

Capcom had previously announced the impending arrival of the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy on PC and Game Pass, set for September 26. Now, fans can mark their calendars for the release of the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, scheduled for January 25, 2024, and there’s even more exciting news – a physical release is in the works.

During the Tokyo Game Show held this weekend, Capcom officially confirmed that this trilogy, which bundles together Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright: Spirit Of Justice, will feature “beautiful HD graphics and special bonuses galore.” It’s set to launch on PS4/5, PC, Switch, and Xbox One and Series X/S, with physical editions available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation players.

The trilogy package includes an abundance of special content, encompassing the soundtracks of all three games, along with 14 bonus tracks from the Ace Attorney 15th Anniversary Orchestra Concert and the Ace Attorney 2019 Orchestra Concert. Players can also look forward to special episodes, costumes, and an art library teeming with character designs, background art, and even the special prologue anime for Spirit of Justice.

But perhaps the most thrilling addition is the animation studio, allowing players to “freely create the scene of your dreams with character models and animations, background music, and voiced lines from the games – all at your fingertips.” Capcom tantalizingly teases the opportunity to place characters in situations previously unthinkable in the main games.

Additionally, players can expect a host of quality-of-life improvements, such as a game menu that enables you to select the specific game, episode, and chapter you’d like to start from the first time you play. There’s also a Story Mode where the game will automatically make selections and solve puzzles, allowing players to simply enjoy watching a captivating mystery unfold.

Furthermore, the “backlog system” from Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice, which allows you to review text you’ve previously read, has been integrated into the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy. This feature lets you easily re-access lines you may have inadvertently skipped.

The official Capcom website states, “First released in 2001, the Ace Attorney series gave birth to the Courtroom Battle genre of text adventure games. Phoenix Wright passes the torch on to Apollo Justice in this collection of 3 games, which traces Apollo’s growth as a lawyer as he navigates the Dark Age of the Law.”
