According to the company’s incident report, ChatGPT was shut down on Monday AM and fully restored ten hours later when a remedy was implemented. However, conversation histories are still not available as of this writing. OpenAI assured users that it is “working to restore this feature as soon as possible” in a sidebar message that stated as much. The company has not provided an estimated time of arrival for the feature.
