Treyarch handled the Ranked mode in Call of Duty: Vanguard, so it stands to reason that the studio will handle the feature in Modern Warfare 2. Treyarch confirmed the release of Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play in 2023 and offered some insights about what it would involve.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play will include competitive game modes, skill divisions, skill ratings, a top 250 leaderboard, and unique incentives, according to Treyarch. More information about these awards will be provided at a later date. Meanwhile, Treyarch has stated that Ranked support in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard is coming to an end, and Call of Duty players should collect their awards in both titles by November 22.
