A classic Looney Tunes character has been added to the roster of MultiVersus.

MultiVersus’ latest update adds a legendary Looney Tunes character to the popular combat game’s roster. The universe-blending platform combatant incorporates characters from across Warner Bros.’ broad array of distinct IPs, with Marvin the Martian being the newest addition.

The legendary Bugs Bunny enemy arrives around a week after MultiVersus was briefly shut down for its Season 2 premiere, which began on November 15. The famous free-to-play fighting game was unavailable for a shockingly short period of time on November 16 – from 9:00 to 10:00 AM PST – with Marvin the Martian just being accessible today. The update closed off an interesting last month of MultiVersus’ inaugural season, which saw the addition of everyone from The Iron Giant to a Space Jam version of LeBron James to Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith from Rick and Morty.

The official MultiVersus Twitter account announced the arrival of Looney Tunes’ Marvin the Martian. Marvin the Martian is revealed to be an Assassin, joining the ranks of Stripe from Gremlins, Arya Stark from Game of Thrones, Finn from Adventure Time, and Harley Quinn from DC Comics. The tweet depicts the new character on a card with numerous of his moves. The B-23 Bubble Blaster launches a bursting bubble projectile, the K-62 Projectile Modulator changes the direction of friendly projectiles, and “…in the name of Mars!” plants his iconic Mars-claiming flag into the ground, launching foes upward.

Early reactions from MultiVersus players look to be good, with Marvin the Martian bringing another crazy yet powerful move to the game. However, the Looney Tunes character isn’t the only addition to MultiVersus’ Season 2 update. In addition to more Looney Tunes content, the new season includes a new level: the Game of Thrones Iron Throne area. While Arya Stark remains the only representation from the famous franchise, the installation of the stage, combined with the current showing of House of the Dragon, might imply that more Westeros characters are on the way.

Despite the fact that Marvin the Martian was only launched today, MultiVersus enthusiasts have already discovered another figure that may join the conflict. With a line of code indicating “Aku’s Mountain,” data miners recently discovered proof that Jack from Samurai Jack may be added to the roster. The discovery very probably means that the iconic animated series’ primary adversary, the magical sword-wielding samurai, will make his way into the game, where he’ll confront Marvin the Martian and whichever other characters wind up appearing in the upcoming season.

MultiVersus is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
