Sonic Frontiers will now have a free global trial available for fans to test after being restricted to Japan only. The newest Sonic adventure, Sonic Frontier, was released in the fourth quarter of 2022, bringing the franchise to new heights with a semi-open world layout. With the game available for at least two months, it sold over 2.5 million copies, making it one of the franchise’s best-selling titles. Sega provided a free game sample for the Nintendo Switch to celebrate the holidays.
