Sony’s patent for a 3D scanner that can put real-world objects into virtual reality isn’t something new. In actuality, the listing dates back to June last year, but we have come to understand that the patent office actually told them to apply once again with a bit more documentation. It seems that the company has reverted back, indicating that they are serious about this venture.
