2024 Ferrari 296 Challenge Unleashes 690 HP V6 Power

Purebred Performance: Ferrari's Newest Track Marvel

Unlike its road-going counterparts, the 296 Challenge won’t be burdened by the constraints of meeting emissions regulations, simply because it will be participating in the fiercely competitive Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. This race-ready marvel marks the ninth model created for this esteemed competition, superseding the 488 Challenge Evo introduced back in 2020.

At the heart of the 2024 Ferrari 296 Challenge lies the well-known twin-turbo, 3.0-liter engine, unburdened by the hybrid component, much like its GT3 sibling introduced in 2023. Free from the regulations imposed on road cars, Ferrari’s engineers have unshackled the V6, allowing it to unleash a staggering 690 horsepower and 546 pound-feet (740 Newton-meters) of torque. While the road version of this six-cylinder powerhouse delivers “only” 663 hp, its combined output surges to a remarkable 830 hp thanks to the synergy with the electric motor.
