Last night, AGMC, the BMW importer for Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, hosted an event for its customers with Bang & Olufsen to showcase BMW’s longstanding commitment to providing superior in-car audio technology and surround sound.

Hosted at the ikonhouse design showroom in Al Quoz, Mikkel Venge,  Industrial Designer at Bang & Olufsen Automotive, revealed the process of how a concept is initially developed and how this is then translated into real world prototypes and finally into production. In addition, he provided behind-the-scenes stories of the process that is required to develop the best possible Bang & Olufsen in-car sound systems for BMW.

Commenting on the event, Natalija Norikova, Marketing Manager of AGMC said: “BMW and Bang & Olufsen are two respected brands in their individual categories that are both renowned for excellence when it comes to aesthetic design and high end performance, and this can be seen in the bespoke Bang & Olufsen high-end surround systems that are developed for several BMW models: the BMW 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series and the X5 models.”

In the cabin of BMW’s fitted with this optional sound system, speaker trims fit seamlessly within the body of the interior while a central speaker is unveiled on the dashboard when the music begins. For crystal-clear sound, a series of 16 speakers which can reach up to 1,200 watts, floods throughout the cabin setting the highest possible tone quality, allowing for sheer listening pleasure.
