To be clear, it’s not as if streaming a Zoom conference to Twitch was previously impossible. Zoom offers broadcasting to additional platforms such as Facebook and YouTube and allows you to establish a custom streaming service – in theory, you could have broadcasted to Twitch by entering your streaming URL and key. You could also have installed OBS and used it to stream a conference, but all of those alternatives are more complicated than the new procedure, which requires only clicking a “Live on Twitch” button and authenticating into the service.
