Spotify’s 2023 Wrapped and Apple Music’s 2023 Replay is officially here, and now, YouTube Music has followed suit, and released their 2023 recap. Essentially, all the three replays contain more or less the same kind of data such as the genre of music you listened to the most, the song you listened to the most, the album you streamed the most, etc. Which replay is better depends more on the way the data is presented. In this, Spotify so far has the most immersive yearly replay content, but now, it looks like YouTube Music has joined the party.
Like Spotify, the YouTube Music Replay can also be accessed on the app, something that is still not possible for Apple Music, and as far as the stats are concerned, you will see a run down of your streaming habits, as well as the songs, artists, albums that you have streamed the most this year.
One of the exciting new features that YouTube Music has added to their 2023 Replay is the custom album art feature. Yes, depending on your streaming history, the app will derive colours, moods and themes, and then, create a custom album art that summarises your 2023 on YouTube Music. Not only is this a novel addition, but it also something you will remember forever.
YouTube Music Replay is now available on the YouTube Music app.
