Xbox has been on a roll with their collaborations off late. First, it was the hot pink controller to celebrate the Barbie movie, and then, there was a Pizza-scented controller to celebrate the launch of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. However, they are all set to set a whole new bar for collaborations with their latest partnership with none other than Wonka!!
To celebrate the release of Warner Bros. Wonka movie on the 15th of December this year, Microsoft will be selling a limited edition Wonka themed console and matching controllers. The console itself will resemble a Wonka chocolate bar, complete with the golden Wonka branding on the front. The controller will be a matching burgundy colour, to match the console.
This is not it though. Along with the console and controller, the lucky customers will be getting an additional life size controller, made completely out of chocolate wrapped in a golden foil. Sounds tempting right? Want to own one? Well, don’t take your credit card out just yet.
Much like the Willy Wonka movie, where children could enter Wonka’s factory only if they had the golden ticket, this limited edition console set will be a sweepstakes reward on Twitter. If you head over to Twitter and check out the Xbox account, you will see the rules and steps you must complete to be an entrant in this contest. If you are the lucky one, you may just be the one to play your favourite games on the Wonka themed Xbox.
