Over 22,000 enthusiastic fans visited Xbox in Dubai at GAMES13, the sixth edition of the Middle East’s biggest annual games convention, to get a region first hands-on with Xbox One. Gaming fans were treated to a line-up of exciting blockbuster titles which gave them the opportunity to experience and enjoy the next-gen console from Xbox. For those looking to win big, cosplay had fans dressed in their gaming best for prizes worth over 24,000 AED, while football fans played with their favourite FIFA14 players in FIFA Ultimate Team, competing for a total prize pool of 40,000 AED.

All Xbox One titles showcased at GAMES13 received industry awards: Killer Instinct won “Best Fighting Game” with its fast-paced and combo heavy arcade style combat, taking centre stage at the Xbox stand. Greco-Roman themed Ryse: Son of Rome won “Best Xbox Game”, while Forza Motorsport 5 took home the “Best Driving Game” award.
