By selecting “Start checkup” in the Privacy settings, users can access various options to enhance their privacy. These options include choosing who can contact them, controlling personal information visibility, adding more privacy measures to chats, and implementing additional security measures for their accounts.
To promote these new privacy features, WhatsApp has released an emotive video encouraging users to reach out to friends they may be concerned about.
