What to expect at the upcoming Apple Event on March 8

The Apple Event is all set to take place on the 8th of March 2022, and the whole tech world is waiting with bated breaths to see what the Cupertino giants unveil next. There have been multiple leaks regarding the event and while Apple has been notorious for proving rumors wrong, 8 times out of  10, these leaks and rumors are true.

The tech giant will demonstrate the devices via a webcast on Apple’s website at an all-virtual event. The company stated that it will be “broadcasting from Apple Park,” its Cupertino, California headquarters. Since the pandemic began two years ago, the tech giant has held online-only events. Apple is presently determining when employees will return to work when the omicron variant becomes less prevalent.

Apple’s media invitation, received through email, features a rainbow Apple logo that appears to move on a black background. Its tagline says, “A sneak preview of the performance.” Apple did not specify which items it intends to introduce – something it virtually never does – but it did add an augmented reality effect on the event’s marketing page, which may hint at a specific part of the event.

The event is another milestone for Apple as it strives to adhere to its product launch calendar, which normally includes spring, summer, and fall events. Apple converted their Worldwide Developers Conference into a virtual event in June 2020, as the pandemic took hold, with slickly edited videos replacing live sessions. Thus far, it appears as though the recipe is working. Apple’s sales and profits have continued to soar to new heights.

Apple has also stated that demand for new processors built to serve as the microprocessing brains for its iPads and Mac computers has continuously exceeded supply, with over $12 billion in anticipated pent-up demand in the last year. “Customer satisfaction is at an all-time high,” Apple CEO Tim Cook stated in January during a conference call with financial analysts. He stated that the technology is assisting in acquiring new clients in addition to upgrading existing ones.

Apple is also anticipated to discuss their upcoming iOS 15.4 software during the upcoming event, which will be a free upgrade for the company’s most recent iPhones and iPads. The company has already revealed that it is adding additional Face ID unlocking capabilities that will work with medical masks, as well as anti-stalking alerts for its AirTag smart trackers.
