Google Duo is the official competitor to Apple’s Facetime app and features everything that Facetime offers and more. Like Facetime, users can enjoy HD audio and video calls, but unlike Facetime, Duo does not require a dedicated account. You can use Duo without a Google account as well.
One of the more unique features of Duo is the Preview option. This allows you to see a glimpse of who is calling you provided they have enabled the ‘knock knock‘ feature on their app.
