eSports Integrity Commission is an association that is not profit-oriented. It was established in 2015 to deal with issues of common interest to all in the eSports competition. ESIC focuses on threats that have to do with manipulation, fraud in betting, and other challenges that may come up in eSports. ESIC has saddled itself with an unwavering responsibility of preventing disruption. The association also sees the investigation of cheating in eSports and prosecuting anyone found guilty after the investigation has been completed. The association also deals with any competitor that engages in match manipulation and doping to deter others.
ESIC stands as a guardian to give eSports all forms of transparency and integrity which is required. Not limited to that, the association aims at uniting the eSports industry with a common goal of fighting and reducing corruption in all forms to its minimum. The ESports Integrity Commission is bent on creating a viable sports environment in which all players, either professional or amateur, and stakeholders in the industry can build a successful career effortlessly.
