This new game joins a number of previous Lord of the Rings adaptations in the works. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power TV series from Amazon is almost around the horizon, however, the new LOTR video game featuring Gollum will no longer be released with the program due to a recent delay. In addition, EA has begun testing The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth, a free-to-play LOTR mobile game.
