A new patch has been published with little over a month remaining in Season 1 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2. Activision is committed to perfecting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 before the release of the next season, which was just recently released after Season 1 Reloaded. While there aren’t any new gameplay elements in this patch, there is a tonne of bugs and crash patches that are meant to increase user pleasure.
Players have been able to access new content in every game mode since Season 1 Reloaded debuted on December 14, 2022. Season 1 Reloaded was the ideal addition to the game, but it also brought along a number of glitches and crashes. These included the dangerous Building 21 and the better multiplayer maps. Activision was able to eliminate a number of the bothersome problems and crash faults in the first patch of the new year. Given how extensive the Season 1 Reloaded patch was, it’s not unexpected that a few problems did manage to survive.
We've just released an update for #ModernWarfare2 and #Warzone2 that includes several bug fixes and improvements. Read our patch notes here ??https://t.co/S3ILYEJs25

The most recent patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 focuses mostly on game stability. The Spotter Scope and Sentry Gun not functioning as intended, various issues with knives in the Gunsmith menu, various UI and navigation fixes, and a problem some players were experiencing with accessing and leaving the firing range are among the issues addressed in this patch outside of the stability update.
The updates on the Warzone 2 and DMZ side weren’t overly many for a change. The significant problem that was preventing players from moving if they employed a recon drone close to water has been repaired. Regarding the insured slot, certain accessibility improvements have been made. Players may now effectively browse the insured slot menus and the Gunsmith option for equipped launchers to change camos will be shown in the insured slot as intended. The issue with faction mission screens has been fixed, and they now show the right rewards.
The remainder of the adjustments are focused on the full game. Players have been disturbed by a number of knife-related problems in the Gunsmith menu for a very long time. Players were unable to save multiple knife variations and apply camos to their custom knife blueprints. In one case, a problem completely locked players out of the Gunsmith interface while they were saving a custom knife. These problems have been dealt with and resolved. The annoying problem that caused players to crash if they disregarded a notice is also fixed by this patch.
Although this patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 contains substantial adjustments, Season 1’s patch cycle may be coming to an end. Season 2 is due out on February 15, and like with every new release, there will likely be a slew of glitches and stability problems. The introduction of a new season is just 15 days away, therefore gamers can anticipate that the huge updates will be replaced by smaller hotfixes for the most urgent problems.
