Of course, Eder isn’t saying outright that Walter White is joining the MultiVersus cast. Fans are sure to take his message to heart even though he makes no guarantees and leaves a lot of room for interpretation. Since Eder is replying to a fan account directly requesting that Walter White be added to MultiVersus, there isn’t much space for interpretation. For Eder to retract and claim he was referring to something else would be a big step.
However, game creation is a challenging process, and Eder is a concept artist, not MultiVersus’ game director. It doesn’t necessarily follow that Walter White will ever be finalised or that Warner Bros. has given its full OK for Walter White to be included, even if Eder was aware that work on the character was being done at Player First Games. In other words, even if Eder is sincere when he claims that the release of Walter White is set for 2023, a lot might go wrong.
