Designed to address the common challenges faced by creators, Vimeo’s new AI tools aim to simplify video editing and make it more accessible to a wider audience.
Among the three new AI tools introduced, the text-based video editor stands out as particularly useful. With a single click, users can utilize this tool to automatically remove long pauses and filler words, such as “um” and “ah,” from their videos. Additionally, the tool generates a transcript of the video, allowing users to search for specific words and delete corresponding parts effortlessly. For those looking to create short clips for social media, the transcript search feature enables users to highlight and right-click on a word, sentence, or paragraph, and select “keep only this.”
