Toyota will showcase two distinct versions of the RAV4 at the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon. One focuses on street performance, and the other on off-road capability.
The RAV4 Dark Side Performance concept takes inspiration from science fiction, featuring a futuristic front design with a shield grille and blue LED lighting. The bold look includes a widebody fender design, large wheels, and a lowered stance, with “09” racing numbers adding to the sporty feel. Inside, blue LED ambient lighting continues the theme, with re-themed infotainment and a carbon-fiber trim on key elements like the steering wheel and gear lever. The powertrain remains unchanged.
The second version, the RAV4 Outdoor Lifestyle package, emphasizes off-road capability with all-terrain Toyo Back Country tires and a slight lift for increased ground clearance. It features a rugged grille design, red mud flaps, and larger fender flares, giving it a more adventurous look without major changes to the bumpers.
Both concepts will be on display at the Tokyo Auto Salon from January 10–12, 2025.
