There has been a bug that has stopped players from progressing in the Super Mario RPG game. Known as the Paratroopa progressional bug, this little glitch prevents the spawning of the helpful Paratroopas in the mini game, thereby preventing the player from progressing in the overall game.
This glitch was brought to the fore by a user on reddit who described the bug in depth. According to the description, once the player speaks with monster mama in monstro town, there is a confirmation that the paratroopas would spawn at land’s end, but they don’t, bringing the game to a grinding halt.
This has been verified by other gamers as well, and thankfully, the bug has caught the notice of the developers. Nintendo has released an official statement that they will be releasing a fix for the issue sometime in December.
Nintendo has offered a temporary solution for this problem. They say that gamers should head to Mushroom Kingdom and then return to Lands End. The paratroopas will spawn and the game will continue. So, if you are one such gamer who is facing this issue, you can use this temporary fix to progress in the game. If it works for you, well and good. Else, you will have to wait for the official fix to arrive.
