Tesla confirms that production of the Cybertruck will begin this year

According to the company’s fourth-quarter financial report, Tesla has announced that manufacturing of the Cybertruck will begin later this year. This is sure to thrill Tesla enthusiasts, since the Cybertruck, Tesla’s first pickup truck, has been delayed multiple times. The business did not disclose any other information other than to mention that the Cybertruck is still in the “tooling” phase.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk originally revealed the Cybertruck in November 2019 during a promotional event in Los Angeles. The vehicle has been compared to scenes from the films “Mad Max” and “Blade Runner.” The Cybertruck, according to Musk, was “inspired partially by ‘The Spy Who Loved Me,'” a reference to the amphibious Lotus Esprit S1 featured in the 1977 James Bond film.
