Actually, the number of outage complaints on Downdetector dropped considerably after reaching a high around 10 p.m. on Monday. Ray said that the outage was caused by a third-party fibre interruption problem, which impacted its services – for some, even emergency calls were unreachable. The failures seemed to have impacted not just T-Mobile users, but also those who use MVNOs that depend on the carrier’s network. 9to5 Google Fi subscribers have also reported sporadic access to its services, however they should be able to use them as normal shortly if T-Mobile was able to resolve the issue.
