Stellantis Pro One: The Future of Stellantis’ Light Commercial Vehicle Business

Stellantis Unveils Pro One, Its New Light Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, and Teases Upcoming Van and Pickup Lineup

One of the most exciting aspects of Stellantis Pro One’s plans is the introduction of four electrified pickup trucks within the next two years. Among these, the Ram 1500 REV stands out as a notable addition, alongside a hydrogen-powered pickup. These pickups will be part of a revamped van and truck lineup in North America that will be gradually introduced in the coming years. Stellantis Pro One is dedicated to delivering a more sustainable lineup, with a second-generation electric drivetrain that offers extended range and the utilization of hydrogen fuel cell technology.

For Stellantis, the LCV sector holds immense significance, contributing to a third of its net revenues. The company sold an impressive 1.6 million LCV units last year. Stellantis Pro One aims to strengthen its position in this market, with LCV Chief Jean-Philippe Imparato emphasizing the brand’s determination to compete with the likes of Ford Pro. Imparato revealed plans to renew the compact van models, including the Citroën Berlingo, Fiat Doblo, Peugeot Partner, Opel Combo, and Vauxhall Combo, in 2024. Additionally, the midsize Opel Vivaro, Vauxhall Vivaro, Peugeot Expert, and Fiat Scudo are also set to receive updates, bolstering Stellantis’ presence in the competitive LCV segment.
