Although no Final Fantasy blockchain games are currently under production, Square Enix’s financing implies Gumi will do so in the future. Square Enix has already said that properties such as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest would be the topic of NFTs and blockchain games, and this is simply another reminder that the publisher does not intend to abandon NFTs or the blockchain, no matter how controversial they grow.
