Spotify previously pulled content from Kremlin-backed sources RT and Sputnik and closed its Russian headquarters, but this new action takes things a step further by completely shutting down the streaming service in the country. Additionally, the corporation announced in March that its paid subscription service would be discontinued in Russia.
