Rusty’s Retirement is a farming sim that plays at the bottom of your screen

When it comes to games that you can play for hours on end, without getting bored, Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley are the best of the best. But, when you play these games, you have to commit and as such, there is not scope for multitasking. This may not always be possible, as people may be busy and may still want to enjoy a lazy farming simulator and now, it looks like there is a new game in the market that will allow you to focus on your work and also enjoy some lazy virtual farming.

The game in question is Rusty’s Retirement, and its concept is simple. The game will run at the bottom of your display, allowing you to focus on your work and also tend to your virtual crops. The game is scheduled to release in Q1 of 2024, and it puts you in the shoes of a cute little robot, who has to grow crops in order to produce some efficient bio fuel. This resource must then be sold to your fellow robot friends and the money you earn can be used to upgrade your farm.

The developers of Rusty’s Retirement have described the game as a zen experience, wherein you must employ robots to assist you in tasks such as planting, watering, and harvesting. This way, you can leave the tasks to the robots and focus on your work. Whenever you find some free time, you can take check on the progress and then get back into your tasks.

If you head to the Steam page, you will see that the game supports a dual monitor setup as well. If you are someone who employs a dual monitor setup, you can expand your farm across both monitors and even zoom in to see more details.

We absolutely love playing these zen simulation games, and we can’t wait to try this one out as well.
