Resident Evil 4 Remake VR Mode to release in December

Get ready to step into Leon Kennedy’s shoes because Resident Evil 4 VR Mode is dropping on December 8! Capcom’s tossing in this cool add-on, and guess what? If you’re rocking the PS5 with PlayStation VR 2, there’s a demo waiting for you too.

What’s the deal? The whole shebang of Resident Evil 4’s main story is packed into this VR experience, and to up the ante, they’ve thrown in some spine-tingling 3D audio. But hold on, there’s more – Capcom’s tossing in a Shooting Range where you can get hands-on with the game’s weapons, from the classic handgun to some hefty rifles. And yes, you heard it right – this Shooting Range action is part of the free demo for all you PSVR 2 folks.

Capcom teased us with the idea of a VR twist to Resident Evil 4 earlier this year, and come May, they hit us with a slick debut trailer at a PlayStation Showcase. Fast forward to September, and they dropped the Separate Ways DLC, putting the spotlight on the awesome Ada Wong.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get better, Resident Evil 4 is throwing its hat into the Game of the Year ring at The Game Awards on December 7, with a sweet four nominations. Oh, and let’s not forget, it snagged a rare GameSpot 10/10 review score.
