Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for a treat this April, with a lineup of Extra and Premium games that cater to fans of Bethesda’s game collection. From id Software and Arkane Studios come a selection of titles, including the popular first-person shooters Doom Eternal and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. While these titles may no longer be considered “fresh”, they remain some of the most renowned games in recent memory.
In addition to these Bethesda games, the subscriptions also include other noteworthy titles. Players can now enjoy the Pixar-esque Kena: Bridge of Spirits, as well as the card battler and roguelike hybrid Slay the Spire. For fans of extreme sports, Ubisoft’s Riders Republic is also part of the package. Furthermore, Sackboy: A Big Adventure is available to Essential members.
PS Plus Premium members, on the other hand, are treated to a selection of classic Bethesda games. This includes the first three Doom games, Doom 64, and Dishonored: Definitive Edition.
However, there is also some bad news for subscribers. Sony has warned that Spider-Man, Resident Evil, and NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 will be departing the catalog by May 15th. Although the library of games offered by PS Plus has grown significantly since the introduction of Extra and Premium subscriptions, it is important to note that the additions are not always permanent.
